On September 16, 2017, from 1-8 PM the Long Beach Vets for Peace along with Per Se The Band will present a CONCERT FOR PEACE at the Long Beach Recreation Park Band Shell. The address is 4901 E. 7th St., located on the corner of 7th and Park Avenue. Also invited are other local peace and justice affiliates in the Long Beach area in honor of International Peace Week. This event will be about recognition, awareness, and promotion of organizations that support the Disabled Performing Arts, Youth Programs, Youth Sports, and Veterans issues through music, poetry, dance and guest speakers. The theme of the event will be to promote Peace in our community and our world. It will showcase Bands of different genre’s, Entertainers, Poets, and Guest Speakers. All contributors will share their talents and expertise to yield a positive message sorely needed in our country and around the world.
