JUST IN, JUST IN... JARS OF CLAY IS COMING, TOO! Jars of Clay will be performing at approximately 5:00 p.m. - better come early, early, early! It may take a while to get parked and get seated :)

Bernard Woma, pictured, will be leading the attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the world's largest hand-drumming "lesson" on Saturday, September 22, 2012 - we are expecting over 5,000 drummers. Bernard Woma is the Cultural Ambassador of Ghana (check him out at bernardwoma.com). He also owns the Dagara Music and Arts School in Ghana in which he gives personal instruction. Bernard has shared the stage with artists such as Maya Angelou, Yo Yo Ma, and Glen Velez. He has also performed for U.S. president Bill Clinton, Nelson Mandela and Queen Elizabeth II. This particular event to break the world record will take place at 3:33p. local time and will continue for 30 minutes. Bring your drum, bring your chair, bring your family.

AND DON'T FORGET... JARS OF CLAY IS COMING, JARS OF CLAY IS COMING!

Everyone involved, from performers to set-up crews to clean-up crews, are volunteering their time and talent as a way of giving back, not only to this community but to the world. They know that whatever they give, they get back at least 10-fold... that's just the way things roll!
